Fellow Marines and Members of the Marine Corps League, it is truly an honor for me to be able to wish each of you a Happy Birthday on this 230th birthday of our beloved Corps. Many of our "Greatest Generation" Marines and Members have celebrated several events of the 60th Anniversary of World War II this year. We have celebrated the 60th anniversary of VE and VJ Days and we will culminate the ending of those 60th anniversary events on Veterans Day, November 11, 2005.
